cold weather in jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: All government, aided, unaided (including minority) and private schools in the state are required to adjust their school hours due to the ongoing cold wave, according to a directive from Jharkhand’s Department of School Education and Literacy. The revised timetable will go into force on January 19 and last until January 25.

The school day has been rescheduled for kids in Kindergarten through fifth grade to run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This change allows students to start their day later and avoid being exposed to the early morning cold. In the meantime, classes 6 through 12 will meet from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Carmel Junior College announced on January 19 that it would be closing its doors to students in Nursery through HKG due to unanticipated circumstances. The goal of the decision is to guarantee the youngest students’ safety and wellbeing on the designated date.

With the increasing severity of cold weather in the area, our decision aims to protect the safety of staff and students during the winter months. It is anticipated that the new schedule would offer a more cosy classroom, especially for the younger pupils.
