Jamshedpur: Villagers of Bada Botla village of Dumariya zone of rural area of ​​Jamshedpur reached the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Wednesday. Where he has written a letter to the Deputy Commissioner opposing the small mining lease. The ryotdars told that 7.36 acres of land has been given to SA Traders, which has been opposed by the ryotdars as well as the people of the village. The villagers told that before taking the mining lease, all the tenants were deceived by the lessee and correct and complete information was not given. Within 250 feet of the mining site, the tribal forest of Masan and forest department is adjacent to the mining area, the houses of Mukul Sardar, Amit Sardar and others are located at a distance of 400 feet.

Khatiandhari are the descendants of Jamda Bhumij and Sadhu Bhumij, but before taking the mining lease, no consent was taken from anyone by SA Traders nor was anyone informed about it. On the basis of its Khatian, all villagers and tenants are equally entitled. By deceiving the villagers, small mining leases have been wrongly given against the rules. Due to this, a mutual dispute may arise in the family and village in the coming days, which can spoil the law and order at any time. There is anger among the village people towards the lease holder. Despite the opposition, the work has been started by the lease holder SA Traders without demarcating the lease area by collecting sixty pounds from the District Mining Office. The tenants demand that the matter should be investigated and action should be taken against the lease holder and the work should be stopped.
