Jamshedpur’s Online RTE Portal Will Improve Access to Education
Initiated by District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner Shri Manjunath Bhajantri, the recently created RTE portal in Jamshedpur seeks to provide improved educational opportunities to children from vulnerable groups by monitoring and ensuring their proper enrollment.
JAMSHEDPUR: The opening of the new https://rteeastsinghbhum.com online portal is a big step in improving educational access for kids from low-income families in Jamshedpur.
The principal objective of the portal, overseen by Mr Manjunath Bhajantri, the Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, is to enable full enrollment under the Right to Education (RTE) Act.
The initiative aims to ensure the representation of pupils from underprivileged and weaker groups in the district’s unassisted private schools.
From January 25, 2024, to February 10, 2024, the portal will be open for parents and guardians to apply for their children.
During the launch occasion, Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri stressed the importance of the portal in monitoring applications from as many marginalised and vulnerable groups as possible and reaching total enrollment.
District Education Superintendent Ms. Nishu Kumari, who was present at the launch, reaffirmed the dedication to this inclusive educational approach.
The administration’s commitment to ensuring that education is available to all societal segments, especially those who are frequently left behind, was demonstrated at the launch event.
This online platform is an essential tool for expediting the registration process and improving system efficiency and transparency.
Through the provision of simple access to education, the site aims to close the gap between the district’s many social strata.
This action supports the more general objective of educational equity by guaranteeing that all children, regardless of their circumstances, have the chance to develop.
