After decisions at the National Principals Conference in Hyderabad, Jamshedpur’s CISCE-affiliated schools will begin teaching robotics, AI, machine learning, and data science to ninth-graders.
JAMSHEDPUR: A noteworthy advancement in education will see students in class nine at CISCE-affiliated schools in Jamshedpur begin studying robotics, machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence (AI) as part of their curriculum.
This project, which is scheduled to begin in the current academic year, is the result of a decision taken in Hyderabad during the National Principals Conference.
The expansion of the curriculum aims to give students specialised study options in computer science, robotics, and artificial intelligence, as well as essential skills in new technologies.
The schools will incorporate 10 “bagless” days into their vocational courses in addition to these disciplines, giving pupils the opportunity to delve further into the subjects they have selected.
Leading the way, Loyola School Bistupur and Gulmohur High School have announced that robotics and artificial intelligence will be studied in the next term.
Reflecting on the talks from the board meeting in Hyderabad, Preeti Sinha, the principal of Gulmohur High School, emphasised the importance of incorporating robots and artificial intelligence into the curriculum.
In addition, Loyola School is leading the way in the use of technology for English language instruction. Students in classes 3, 4, and 5 can now practise pronouncing words correctly in American English thanks to a recently created language lab.
With the help of this lab, kids may record and examine their speech, providing a novel way to learn the nuances of American English.
These innovations in education show how forward-thinking it is to incorporate contemporary languages and technology into the curriculum at Jamshedpur’s CISCE schools.
