Today on 24 Jan 2024, girl children were seen outside DC office Jamshedpur with placards spreading awareness about “Beti Bachao – Beti Padhao”. The event is organized by Women, child development and social security department of government of Jharkhand
Students were seen with posters which spread the following message
We take oath today that India is our country.
All Indians are my friends and relatives.
Woman is a form of dependent power.
She is a powerful daughter, sister and mother.
If the son is Kuldeepak.
So the daughter is a confluence of two clans.
Will neither take nor give dowry.
Neither will we commit nor allow female feticide.
Will celebrate daughter’s birthday.
Will create his identity in the society.
Daughter is the pride of every house.
Our daughter is our pride.
Today we are joining the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign and always will strive for equality between men and women.
