A Golf Scholarship and Incubation Programme is being introduced by JCAPCPL, the Tata Steel Foundation, and Jamshedpur Golf for caddies and kids of “Masti Ki Pathshala.”

Jamshedpur Golf, in association with JCAPCPL and the Tata Steel Foundation, has launched the “Golf Scholarship and Incubation Programme.”

This project was introduced during the 73rd Steel City Golf-2024 competition.

The programme, a JCAPCPL CSR project, uses Jamshedpur Golf’s technical know-how and the Tata Steel Foundation’s backing to nurture players from the ground up.

The Golmuri and Beldih golf courses will host training sessions with an emphasis on empowering caddies and kids from “Masti Ki Pathshala” (MKP).

Leading this project are D.B. Sundara Ramam, Vice President of Tata Steel; Ujjal Chakraborti, Managing Director of JCAPCPL; and Sourav Roy, CEO of Tata Steel Foundation.

The programme highlights the transformational potential of sports and is in line with Tata Steel’s aim of developing talent and community development.

By participating in this project, JCAPCPL is demonstrating its dedication to improving society, especially for young golfers.

Sourav Roy emphasised that the initiative has the ability to introduce golf to a variety of cultures, particularly the Masti Ki Pathshala children.

Jamshedpur Golf is excited to identify and develop golfers from a variety of backgrounds.

By fostering good change via sports and community participation, this programme aims to fortify corporate-community ties and pave the road for ambitious golfers in the future.

In order to meet India’s need for premium automotive CR steels, Tata Steel Limited and Nippon Steel Corporation formed JCAPCPL, a joint venture, in 2011.
