Jamshedpur News Today: After being hit by a cargo train, 68-year-old Bharat Majhi passed away from his wounds late last night in Sakchi, Jamshedpur’s MGM Hospital. The regrettable sequence of events has been documented in a legal complaint that his 26-year-old son Kamal Majhi filed at the Sakchi police station.
Bharat Majhi was routinely herding goats close to the railway tracks when the incident—which could have been fatal—took place. He was trying to cross the railway beneath a cargo train that was stopped when it suddenly started to move, seriously injuring his legs.
After receiving word of the accident over the phone, the family hurried him to MGM Hospital with the help of neighbours.
Bharat Majhi went suddenly during treatment, despite efforts to save him, leaving the family and community in sadness. The next phase of the investigation into this tragic tragedy will be his autopsy, which was moved by the authorities on Tuesday after his death.
In his claim, Kamal Majhi brought up their residence in Jaduguda Asanbani, providing insight into the victim’s past and the sudden loss the family is experiencing. The safety risks related to railway lines and the urgent need for increased awareness and preventive actions have been brought to light by this tragedy.
