What is Sveep?
The Election Commission of India’s flagship program for voter education, voter awareness, and voter literacy promotion in India is called SVEEP. This multi-intervention program uses a variety of channels and media to inform voters, citizens, and electors about the electoral process, raising awareness and encouraging informed participation. The socioeconomic, cultural, and demographic makeup of the state as well as the voter turnout in prior election cycles are taken into consideration when designing SVEEP. The Commission creates a number of voter awareness resources and distributes them via a range of communication channels, including print, electronic, and social media.
DC Office Jamshedpur: Central Government organized an awareness campaign today at DC Office Jamshedpur for people to understand how EVM and VVPAT machine works during the time of Election. The common people were found asking questions to the authorities involved in the program. Watch the video
