Jamshedpur: XLRI is hosting a two-day international conference from February 2 on the theme of “Enabling Social and Business Responsibility in a Globalized World.” The conference is being jointly organized by the JRD Tata Foundation for Business Ethics and XLRI.More than 150 delegates from over 78 institutions from India and abroad are participating in the conference. A total of 98 papers will be presented during the conference.
The two-day conference will be attended by the Creighton University Business College, USA, Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, USA, Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University, Faculty, Innsbruck University Austria.
In addition, seven resource persons will also be participating.
The first day of the conference will begin with a discussion on the topic of “Ethical Practices in Modern Business, Sustainability and Global Responsibility.” The chief guests on the first day will be Amit Raj Sinha, Managing Director and Director, Sigachi Industries Limited, Soni Sinha, Chief Ethics Officer, Tata Steel, Fr. George Sebastian, Director, XLRI, along with Fr. Jerry Kutinha, Provincial, Jamshedpur Jesuits, Prof. Sanjay Patro, Dean Academics, XLRI, Donald D’Silva, Dean Admin, XLRI and many others.
