Jamshedpur, Jan. 22: On Sunday, the premier Odiya organisation in the steel city hosted the Utkal Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in a cordial setting.
Vote on shifting venue
The association’s AGM, which took place in a calm manner, was noteworthy since it was intended for the members to approve a major decision to relocate the Utkal Association’s headquarters from its current location on Tapti Road in Sakchi to a new location in the same city.
During the AGM, which was presided over by Dr. Sridhar Pradhan, the president of the association, the request to move the venue to the new location was approved by voice vote.
The proposed location of the Utkal Association is in Sakchi, behind Ravindra Bhavan.
