Jugsalai Gunfire: Two Hurt and Taken to TMH for Treatment

Gun Fire in jugsalai 2

Two young people, Mahfooz Alam of Mango and Mohd Majeed of Jugsalai, were injured in a frightening event in which criminals opened fire at Mararpada, Jugsalai. Following the attack, the perpetrators—who have been named as Altamash, Sabbo, Mujahid alias Bablu, and Bikki—left the area. The patients received quick medical attention and are currently receiving care at Tata Main Hospital (TMH).

According to Mohammad Majeed’s account of the incident, Altamash, Sabbo, Mujahid, and Bikki stopped him and his companion Mahfooz outside Murga Chowk as they were making their way home from a party. After they got into a fight, Bikki pulled out a revolver and shot six times. Mahfooz Alam was struck on the palm, and Majeed was injured in the waist and hands.

Two Shot

Majeed disclosed that Bikki’s demands for extortion were the driving force behind the attack. Because Majeed had refused to pay extortion money, Bikki had earlier set fire to his tyre shop at Jugsalai gate. It is purported that the recent gunshot incident was a continuation of this disagreement. The matter is presently being looked into by the police.
