The award was presented by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Jal Shakti, Government of India, at a ceremony in New Delhi. Sugandha Jayaswal, Resident Executive (Delhi), Tata Steel, received the award on behalf of the company.
FAMD’s digitalization efforts have enabled them to track water consumption throughout their entire value chain, from the Sukinda mine in Jajpur district to the Ferro Chrome Plant in Athagarh district of Odisha. This allows them to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted water conservation measures.
