Tata Workers Union elections are going to be held today i.e. on Saturday. Voting will be held in all the concerned departments from 7 am to 3 pm, after which votes will be counted at 5 pm in the Steelenium Hall of the company premises.
Let us inform you that this will be the first election in the Tata Workers Union’s history in which the media will not be allowed to cover the event. Meanwhile, PN Singh, the former president of the union, argues that since elections must be conducted transparently, there is no reason why the media should be allowed to remain silent. They have also requested that the entire election process be captured on video.
