The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jharkhand is taking steps to strengthen its organization throughout the state. The party recently announced its list of district election officers and co-election officers. These individuals will be responsible for overseeing the BJP’s activities at the local level. Dr. Pradeep Verma, a state election officer and Member of Parliament, shared this information on Monday.
The new structure will have one election officer and two co-election officers for each of the 27 organizational districts. For example, in the important urban district of Ranchi Metropolitan, Geeta Koda will serve as the election officer. She will have the support of Sunil Sahu and Om Prakash as co-election officers. In the Ranchi Rural district, Ghuran Ram is now the election officer, working alongside co-election officer Laxman Singh Munda. This shows how the BJP is focusing on having a strong leadership team in each district.
Dr. Verma emphasized the importance of these appointments for completing organizational tasks within the districts. He explained that this is a vital step in the BJP’s strategy. By appointing these officers, the BJP aims to better prepare for upcoming elections and to improve its overall effectiveness in Jharkhand. This initiative clearly demonstrates the party’s focus on creating a strong foundation for governance at the district level. This is a key part of their strategy to be more effective at a local level and prepare for future elections.
