Jharkhand Crackdown Tobacco Products Seized Near S

On Monday a big raid happened in Sakchi led by Shatabdi Majumdar who is the Sub-Divisional Officer of Dhalbhum. They wanted to stop shops from selling tobacco near schools because it’s not allowed. Many shopkeepers were ignoring the rules so they had to take action.

The raid team checked shops and little stands near Sharda Mani School and Rajasthan Vidya Mandir without warning. They did this to make sure no one was selling tobacco products there. They wanted to make sure everyone followed the rules.

During the raid officials took tobacco products from five shops. The shopkeepers who were breaking the rules also had to pay a total of one thousand rupees in fines. Executive Magistrate Chandrajit Singh and other officials were also part of the team doing the inspections.
