On January 9th 2025 Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind East Singhbhum had their yearly meeting at Masjid Abu Huraira in Jamshedpur. Mufti Zainul Abedin led the meeting with people from 35 madrasas around Kolhan there to talk about important community issues. They talked about getting ready for Ramadan by planning programs that would encourage positive changes. These programs were meant to help stop non-Islamic practices during weddings start anti-drug drives and teach Muslim women about their roles.
They also spent time discussing how the madrasas were run. They focused on making sure each madrasa was properly registered had clear financial records and followed government rules. It was important to them that the madrasas were managed well and followed all the necessary legal and administrative steps. They wanted to make sure everything was in order and these schools were working as they should be.
This meeting was a chance for religious leaders and madrasa people to work together. They shared what was on their minds and came up with ways to solve community and management problems. They all agreed that working together was key to making things better and helping their religious places run smoothly. They decided to start programs that would help their community learn and follow both religious and legal guidelines.
