Hazaribagh SP Arvind Singh has taken this action on the report of Hazaribagh Range DIG Sunil Bhaskar. SP has suspended Tatijharia police station in-charge, while Vishnugadh police station in-charge has been given show cause notice. Coal is dumped in Berem located in Tatijharia police station area. Illegal coal trade was being carried out in a protected manner in Bokaro and Ramgarh districts. Illegal coal was brought from Pachmo and Hurdag of Bokaro and Basakpur of Ramgarh and dumped in Berem located in Tatijharia police station area of Hazaribagh. After this, coal from here was being sold at higher prices in the markets of Dehri and Banaras. On the other hand, illegal coal from Mahuatand, Jageshwar Bihar and Pek Narayanpur police station area of Bokaro district was dumped in the border of Vishnugarh and Ramgarh of Hazaribagh. Coal was brought to the dump through bicycles, bikes and tractors. After this, it was loaded on trucks and sent in the dark of night. Every day about twenty trucks of coal were illegally traded from here. However, this business has come to a standstill for the last few days. But efforts are being made at the local level to restart it.
