Rahul Dravid has recommended Ishan Kishan for the Ranji Trophy, but he is still unavailable. Head coach Rahul Dravid emphasised that Ishan Kishan can become available again after playing domestic cricket, after making it clear that the wicketkeeper-batter’s absence from the Afghanistan T20Is was not because of disciplinary issues. Ishan reportedly mentioned mental exhaustion when he asked for a break from the Test series in South Africa in December and January.
Debasish Chakraborty, secretary of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA), responded to PTI’s inquiry regarding Kishan’s suitability for the Ranji Trophy by saying that Kishan had not gotten in touch with them or indicated his availability.

“No, we haven’t heard from Ishan or received any information regarding his availability. He will enter the playing XI whenever he tells us, Chakraborty said PTI.
Kishan is reportedly planning to make a comeback for the five-Test series that begins in Hyderabad on January 25. Ishan may make himself available for Jharkhand’s next match against Services in Delhi starting on January 19, in accordance with the team management’s policy.
