Latehar Police arrests 15 criminals including 2 women with weapons in train loot case

SP Anjani Anjan provided an update on the case, stating that on Wednesday night, information regarding the whereabouts of a few suspicious individuals was received. Following this, a special team was assembled, and they were apprehended. He said that the team obtained a great deal of valuable information from questioning the detained suspects. After being identified, the group raided several locations in the districts of Latehar, Palamu, and Lohardaga, apprehending fifteen individuals.

He claimed that after the criminals were identified, the police found a significant amount of gold and silver jewellery, along with six guns, twenty cartridges, twenty cellphones, eight bikes, and two boleros. They also seized Rs 49,000 in cash. In addition to the train robbery, he claimed that the aforementioned criminals had also committed road robberies in various Latehar and Palamu locations.

Several passengers were attacked during the Jammu Tawi Express train loot, resulting in serious injuries. Following this, Daltonganj Station provided first aid to the injured.
