Potka MLA Sanjib Sardar has expressed his displeasure over not being invited to the three-day Panchayat level pension camp that started from Tuesday in Jamshedpur block. He has lodged a protest with Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal and lodged a complaint with the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary.
In this, the senior administrative officer of Lava district of Jamshedpur, Potka, Dumariya BDO has been accused of contempt and neglect for not giving information about the pension camp organized in the assembly. However, the Deputy Commissioner assured the MLA that he would find out at what level the mistake had occurred. Earlier, DC Ananya Mittal inaugurated a three-day panchayat level pension camp from Jamshedpur block premises on Tuesday. DC also flagged off the awareness chariot and gave the message of success of the camp by releasing balloons.
In his address, DC said that as many villagers as possible should submit their applications in the camp organized till 22nd February. Applications will be accepted in the block offices even after February 22. DDC Manish Kumar said that the officials of all the blocks should ensure that not a single eligible beneficiary is deprived of the benefits of the scheme. 300 applications came on the first day of the camp
