On the morning of 15 Feb 2024, Demu village situated in Latehar district of Jharkhand witnessed a horrific murder case. A young boy’s body was found dead in the sewage after which locals panicked and rushed to call local police authority. Victim’s name as per reports is Upendar Singh.
Quickly the situation was taken in control and police has started the investigation against the crime. During an interview with The News Post, the victim’s father Dinesh Singh said that the boy left the house earlier today in the morning after which the information of his dead body came to his notice.
Also during the interview, victim’s mother claimed that Upendar Singh’s friend took him in the morning and killed him after intoxicating him with an alcoholic drink. Latehar Police is investigating the matter currently and will come out with a final conclusion.
