Gumla: On the 128th birth anniversary of the country’s great freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Jharkhand Education Project Gumla, in coordination with the district administration, remembered Netaji by organizing Bravery Day with school children at Paramveer Albert Ekka Main Stadium. Under the leadership of a student dressed up in Netaji’s costume, Deputy Commissioner Karna Satyarthi, as the chief guest of the program, lit the lamp and garlanded the cutout of Netaji. Throwing light on the biography of Netaji on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that Netaji was the pioneer and greatest leader of India’s freedom struggle and during the Second World War, he had formed the Azad Hind Fauj with the help of Japan to fight against the British. . The slogan “Jai Hind” given by Netaji is the national slogan of India. He encouraged all the children and taught them patriotism by taking inspiration from the life of Netaji. Throwing light on the importance of today, District Education Superintendent Wasim Ahmed told that Subhash Chandra Bose was born on 23 January 1897 in Cuttack, Orissa and he was very bright in studies since childhood.
