A three-month beautician workshop in Ramgarh, organized by the Swarnrekha Mahila Samiti, recently finished, successfully empowering local women. Twenty women completed the training, and what’s more, four are already working as beauticians. This program sought to help women become independent and create new employment possibilities. The training focused on giving practical, hands-on experience in various beauty techniques.
During the closing ceremony, Rita Singh, the President of the Swarnrekha Mahila Samiti, gave the participants their training certificates. “This workshop demonstrates our dedication to empowering women in our community,” Singh stated. “We are thrilled to see that some participants have already started their careers.” The workshop made sure the women gained hands-on skills, preparing them to work right after the training concluded.
Moreover, this successful beautician workshop provided women with valuable skills and also helps the local economy. This program clearly shows how community-based efforts that give women job-related skills can have a positive effect. In addition, the initiative by Swarnrekha Mahila Samiti is a great example of how skill development programs can be an engine for positive change. The program stands as an example for future efforts to empower women in the region even more.
