Ramgarh’s District Commissioner (DC), Chandan Kumar, recently addressed key officials to improve land record processes. In a video conference, he spoke with all Circle Officers (COs) about the importance of quickly resolving pending land mutation cases. These cases involve smaller plots of land, specifically those 10 decimals or less, within the Ramgarh district.
DC Kumar urged the COs to tackle these cases with urgency. He instructed them to work in “campaign mode” to complete the outstanding land mutations. In addition, he asked the officers to organize special camps at their circle offices on Saturdays to process these cases more efficiently. This effort aims to give landowners faster service and simplify the land administration system.
The District Commissioner also spoke with Block Development Officers (BDOs) in a separate video conference. He reviewed the progress of tasks assigned earlier in February, ensuring that development projects in the district are completed on time. This follow-up demonstrates a commitment to accountability and timely action.
By holding these meetings and emphasizing the importance of swift action, DC Kumar is showing Ramgarh’s dedication to good governance. Resolving these land record issues is a priority. Ultimately, the district aims to significantly reduce the backlog of cases and improve land administration services for all residents of Ramgarh.
