A jewelry store in Ranchi, India, was robbed on December 31, 2024. The store, Krishna Jewelers, is located in the Doranda police station area, near the Dibdih flyover. After the robbery, police responded quickly to investigate the crime.
As a result of their investigation, police arrested seven people connected to the robbery. According to SSP Chandan Sinha, the police team successfully caught all seven individuals involved. This quick action shows the police department’s commitment to solving the crime.
Four of the arrested individuals are accused of actually stealing the jewelry. Their names are Tafjul Sheikh, Kamruz Jamal, Salman Sheikh, and Daud Sheikh. On the other hand, the other three, Gulab Mohammad, Madan Swarnkar, and Ajay Kumar, are accused of receiving the stolen items.
The arrests were made in Ranchi and the Radhanagar area of Sahibganj. Police were able to recover one and a half kilograms of stolen silver from the suspects. This recovery is an important development in the jewelry store robbery case.
SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha shared more information about the case at a press conference. He explained that the investigation is still ongoing. Authorities are working to find out if anyone else was involved in the robbery. They also want to make sure that all of the stolen items are recovered.
