Three detained and questioned, one found to be involved in the JSSC paper leak case.

The Jharkhand General Graduate Qualifying Combined Competitive Examination-2023 question paper leak case is now under investigation by SIT. Three people were taken into custody by the Ranchi Police SIT on Thursday. It is becoming evident which one of them is clearly involved. It is being looked into. The SIT was questioning JSSC officers simultaneously. The Zonal IG residential office is the location of the interrogation. The JSSC officers claimed that the SIT officials were harassing them during their interrogation.

In this regard, a letter has been written to the Chief Secretary. The concerned officials were reportedly called to the Zonal IG office on February 8. It was requested for everyone to assist with the investigation. However, they were under pressure from higher-ranking police officers to identify the suspects who leaked the question papers. They also reported that indecent actions were taken.

Every officer and staff member of the commission is afraid. Additionally, the current Commission Chairman is not working together with the staff members and officials. His working style has disappointed the staff of the Commission. To assist the SIT, SSP Ranchi has created four teams, each with four members.

According to the commission, they outsourced an agency to handle every step of the examination process.

Commission representatives informed the SIT that an outsourcing agency handles every step of the process. The examination centre of the candidate, the expert who will be responsible for the questions, what questions will be there; everything is handled by the outsourced agency. The commission doesn’t have any kind of information in this respect.

A police report has been filed at Namkum.

On behalf of Commission’s Joint Secretary Madhumita Kumari, a FIR has been filed at Namkum police station against unknown individuals in connection with the question paper leak case. In which it was stated that, as of the end of the third shift (General Knowledge) exam on January 28, the Commission had not heard from any centres regarding any violations of confidentiality or breaking of the seal on examination materials. At 2:32 PM and 2:38 PM on the same day, the emails were received by the Commission, wherein the four pages of sequential response options for the general knowledge section of the competitive exam were provided.
