BARMER: According to police on Saturday, a 16-year-old girl who was sexually assaulted by a government school teacher in October of last year committed herself at home in the Jalore district of Rajasthan.
The girl’s body was found in her room on Friday night, and her relatives notified the authorities of this, according to the police.
According to assistant sub inspector Pratap Singh, the girl was sexually assaulted by a government school instructor she encountered at an exam centre the previous year.
“The girl from Bhinmal town in the Jalore district was abducted by the accused on October 22 of last year, and she was raped.” The accused was taken into custody in accordance with the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act when the police retrieved her from the Barmer neighbourhood.
