Asaram was let out of the hospital in Jodhpur late Tuesday night. He got temporary bail from the Rajasthan High Court in a rape case from 2013. Asaram was arrested back on September 2 2013 and was in jail. He was found guilty on April 25 2018 for raping a young girl. That happened at the Manai Ashram in Jodhpur. He went back to his ashram in Pal village after leaving the hospital.
Lots of people were waiting outside the hospital to greet Asaram when he came out. They put garlands around his neck. When he got to his ashram his followers set off fireworks to celebrate him coming back. This case has been in the news a lot because the things he’s accused of are very bad.
This whole thing shows how complicated it is when legal stuff and what people think mixes. He’s out of jail for now but the case is still going on. The way his supporters acted shows that people have different feelings about the case and the court’s choices.
