A ten-year-old girl got hurt in India on Sunday evening. It happened when she accidentally stepped on a homemade bomb that exploded. This took place near a village in the Sukma district.
The bomb was planted by a group called Naxalites. The girl was rushed to the hospital right after. Good news is that she’s doing okay now according to the police.
These types of bombs are often used by the Naxalites which creates a lot of danger for people in the area. It’s a sad reminder of how innocent people can get caught up in these conflicts. Police are still looking into the incident.
