Closed Shiva Temple Reopens in Varanasi Muslim Area, claims 5 Idols found

A Shiva temple in Varanasi got reopened by officials and police after being closed for a long time. It’s in a area with mostly Muslims. They started cleaning it up after Hindu groups said they wanted it open. The government looked into it and agreed that Hindus have the right to pray there. They found five Shivlings while cleaning, but one was broken.

The temple was opened because authorities found it wasn’t part of a house sold to a Muslim family way back in 1992. Even though the house changed hands the temple was still there and nothing was built illegally. Local people were okay with it so they said yes to worship. Vishwa Hindu Parishad is now gonna take care of the temple.

This is happening because Hindu groups want to find and open all the old closed temples in Uttar Pradesh. It started after they found similar stuff in another place called Sambhal. The group called Sanatan Rakshak Dal tried to pray there before but was stopped while they checked ownership. Now they finally let the Hindu community practice their religion at the temple.
