Ramesh thinks Modi’s talking about being fallible now to get away from what he said before about being “sent by God”. This all came after a long podcast where Modi talked about how everyone makes errors referencing his time as a Chief Minister.
The Congress party sees this as a trick rather than the Prime Minister being honest about his faults. They think Modi is trying to change his public image especially after he talked about divine appointment before the 2024 election. Basically they are saying that he is trying to have it both ways.
