Delhi: Kejriwal Alleges Amit Shah Ordered Attack on Car, Police Deny Claim

Delhi Kejriwal Alleges Amit Shah Ordered Attack on

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has accused the Union Home Minister Amit Shah of orchestrating an attack on his car. Kejriwal claims that the police, who report to Shah, deliberately allowed the incident to happen. This accusation comes at a time of increased political tension in Delhi.

According to Kejriwal, the police were told to stand down and allow an opposition member to attack his car. He suggested that Amit Shah was directly involved in ordering the alleged assault, implying it was politically motivated. Kejriwal made these claims during a press conference on Thursday. However, the Delhi Police have denied Kejriwal’s claims.

The Delhi Police stated that officers were present and providing security during Kejriwal’s public meeting in Hari Nagar. A police spokesperson said no attack was attempted while their team was present. They emphasized that the police personnel safely escorted Kejriwal during the event.

This is not the first time Kejriwal has raised concerns about his security. He has previously accused the BJP of planning similar incidents to damage his political image. These accusations tend to increase during election periods, reflecting the tense political environment in Delhi.

So far, Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has not released any further evidence to support his claims. The BJP has also not officially responded to the allegations. This incident could worsen the already strained relationship between the AAP and the central government. It also highlights the ongoing political competition and the difficulty of maintaining order during intense political activity.
