Delhi’s Atishi Files Nomination for Kalkaji Assembly Seat After Delay

Delhis Atishi Files Nomination for Kalkaji Assembl

Atishi, an AAP leader, submitted her paperwork to run in the Delhi assembly elections on Tuesday. She went to the District Magistrate’s office in Lajpat Nagar to do this. She’s running for the Kalkaji seat. She had a bit of a delay on Monday because a roadshow made her miss the 3 PM deadline.

For this election, she is going up against Ramesh Singh Bidhuri from BJP and Alka Lamba of Congress. Bidhuri has won a few elections before, like in Tughlakabad and South Delhi. So this election in Kalkaji will have a bunch of different parties competing.

This election is part of the scheduled Delhi Assembly elections. Her nomination is just a normal part of things, so she can be on the ballot to get a spot in the state government. We don’t know the exact election dates from this news, but it shows that multiple parties are actively involved.
