In a market in Malda, India an older 75-year-old man who sold vegetables died after a fight. Two younger men got into an argument with him about a space for his stall. The argument turned into a physical attack and the older man was killed. The two attackers ran away after it happened.
This all took place at the regular weekly market in Samshi. It seems the disagreement over the stall space caused the attack. Because of what happened the local area is very tense. People are worried and upset about the violence especially because the man who died was old.
The police are investigating this killing right now. They are trying to find the two men who did it. No one has been arrested yet but the police are working hard to find them. They want to catch the people responsible to help calm everyone down and keep things safe.
