Hyderabad Streets Empty as Residents Flee for Sankranti, Locals Enjoy Open Roads

Hyderabad Streets Empty as Residents Flee for Sank

During Sankranti lots of people from Hyderabad went back to their hometowns. This made the city streets really quiet. Places like SR Nagar Jubilee Hills and Ameerpet had way less traffic than usual on Monday January 13th. It was a big change from the normal busy streets.

The quiet roads are expected to stay until Wednesday when Sankranti ends. After the holiday people will likely come back and the city’s traffic will return to normal. For now it’s a nice break for people still in Hyderabad. Many people got to enjoy the extra space in the city.

With less traffic some people in Hyderabad took advantage. They used the open roads for things like flying kites and playing cricket which is hard to do normally with all the cars. It showed how a holiday can really change the city and the lives of people who stayed. It was a time for people to enjoy the city in a different way.
