The All India Industrial Exhibition Society is running their yearly Numaish exhibition in Hyderabad and it’s pretty popular this year. Even though more people are shopping online, the fair has seen a big jump in visitors. The first ten days had 25,000 more ticket sales than last year and one Sunday alone had 70,000 people show up.
This year’s Numaish got about 2,500 stall applications and is being held in Hyderabad. The whole point is to give businesses a place to show off what they sell to lots of people. Even with online shopping becoming the norm, they’re still drawing big crowds.
Why so many people are going despite online shopping being so easy isn’t said but the increased tickets and big crowds show people still like going to the Numaish in person in Hyderabad. The report doesn’t say much more about how the event works just that they got a lot of applications for stalls.
