India and Saudi Arabia made an agreement on Monday January 13th in Jeddah about the 2025 Hajj. Kiren Rijiju who is India’s Minister for Minority Affairs and Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Hajj and Umrah signed the deal. The main thing they decided was that 175025 people from India can go on the Hajj in 2025. This agreement controls how many Indian people can do the yearly religious trip to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
This agreement was about getting the plans in order and setting the number of people from India that can do the Hajj in 2025. The ministers from both countries signed it showing that India and Saudi Arabia are working together to handle the pilgrimage. Minister Rijiju said that India is dedicated to helping its people who are going on this big religious journey. This happens every year to arrange the Hajj.
