Israel News: Israel Launches Recruitment Campaign Throughout India to Solve Labor Shortage

Since October 7, after banning tens of thousands of Palestinian workers, Israel is on a recruitment drive to hire Indian workers.⁣ They’re going to a dangerous war zone only because the Indian government has not fulfilled its promises to provide employment.

At a time when Palestinians, who have long been essential to Israeli construction and other industries, are being denied entry into the nation, Israel intends to hire tens of thousands of Indians.

The Israeli team in Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to test at least 4,600 applicants over the course of seven days for positions that include bending, masoning, tiling, and shuttering carpenters, as reported by the Times of India.

According to an Indian government official cited in the ToI report, NSDC International, an organization under the jurisdiction of the Population, Immigration and Border Authority (PIBA) in Israel and the Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship from India, handles the hiring process for construction workers in Israel.

The report includes the schedule for the PIBA. This involves evaluating the abilities of

629 workers from Agra, Kanpur, and Lucknow were tested on January 23.
585 workers from Azamgarh and Banda divisions were examined on January 24.
563 workers from Bareilly, Jhansi, Noida, Moradabad, and Devipatan divisions will be tested on January 25.
656 workers from Varanasi, Mirzapur, Meerut, and Ghaziabad divisions were tested on January 27.
877 workers from Gorakhpur division on 28.
739 workers from Ayodhya and Saharanpur divisions on 29.
603 workers from Aligarh, Basti, and Prayagraj divisions were tested on 30.
