Arvind Kejriwal from AAP said that if BJP wins the Delhi elections they will tear down all the slums. He said this at a press event in Shakur Basti. Kejriwal believes BJP cares more about getting land than helping the people living in slums. He thinks BJP just wants votes before kicking people out.
Kejriwal is calling out the BJP for being dishonest about land and people in slums. He’s talking about this because of the upcoming elections. AAP wants to be seen as the party that will protect the people who live in those communities. He also challenged Amit Shah to drop the cases against slum residents.
Kejriwal’s claim is a direct hit on the BJP saying they hurt the most vulnerable. BJP hasn’t said anything back yet. AAP seems to be trying to show they’re different from BJP by focusing on the needs of Delhi’s slum residents and using it to get more support for the election.
