The Indian National League or INL a political party in Kerala has said they will support two candidates from another party called AIMIM in the Delhi elections. This shows how different political groups are working together. The INL is backing Tahir Hussain for Mustafabad and Shafaur Rehman for Okhla both are with the AIMIM.
This support from the INL is about helping the AIMIM get stronger in Delhi. It looks like they want to get more people from AIMIM elected to the Delhi government. That way the parties can have more say in what happens there. The Delhi elections are currently happening and we are seeing more regional parties partner up.
This situation shows how things change in Indian politics. It’s not rare for parties to team up to get what they want in elections. We’ll see if the INL and AIMIM working together helps them win in Mustafabad and Okhla and if it changes anything in Delhi politics. There are 70 seats up for grabs in the Delhi Assembly.
