Police in Dewas city, Madhya Pradesh have arrested Sanjay Patidar from Ujjain. He’s accused of killing his live-in partner, Pinky Prajapati. The alleged murder happened sometime around June 2024 it seems after the two had a big argument about getting married. Pinky was in her 30s and had been living with Patidar for five years.
After the argument, Patidar is said to have killed Pinky. He then allegedly kept her body in a fridge at their home for about eight months. The police found her on Friday January 10 2025. They went to the house because people were starting to worry about Pinky and her family had reported her missing.
From what’s known so far it seems like Pinky’s murder happened after she wanted Patidar to marry her. Now the police are investigating everything that happened both before and after her death including how Patidar acted in those eight months.
