Muslims Targeted: Judge’s Anti-Muslim Remarks Spark Inquiry

Sanjeev Kumar Yadav

Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna wants a new report from Allahabad High Court cause Justice Shekhar Kumar Yadav made anti-Muslim statements you know. This happened after Yadav spoke at a Vishwa Hindu Parishad event in December saying India should be run by Hindu majority wishes and called Muslims bad for the country like they slow down progress and stuff. He even talked about wanting a Uniform Civil Code.

Khanna and the Supreme Court Collegium had asked Yadav to explain himself earlier but he didn’t apologize or say anything. So now Chief Justice Khanna asking for a fresh report could mean they gonna start an investigation. People are very mad they wanna impeach him suspend his judicial duties you know cause he said some wrong things.

Like 55 opposition MPs in Rajya Sabha filed an impeachment notice saying Yadav is biased against minorities. Also turns out he’s got a history of putting Hindutva stuff in his orders like promoting cow worship and talking about conspiracy theories about religious conversions too. Some people filed a court case to challenge his impeachment but the High Court said no.
