  • Grand Innaugration of an Unfinished Temple, Why? Shankaracharya raises question amid BJP’s Grand Ayodhya Event.

Grand Innaugration of an Unfinished Temple, Why? Shankaracharya raises question amid BJP’s Grand Ayodhya Event.

New Delhi: Ahead of the January 22 event, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati, one of the Shankaracharyas who will not be present at the Ram temple inauguration on Thursday, January 18, raised two concerns: the addition of a new idol of Ram Lalla to the upcoming temple and the fact that the temple is still under construction.

On January 18, Thursday, the Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth wrote a letter to Nritya Gopal Das, the chief of the Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, as well as the head of the greatest temple in Ayodhya, the Mani Ram Das Ki Chavani. In the letter, the Shankaracharya voiced these concerns.

The letter stated in Hindi that the “new idol is the one whose “pran pratishtha” will follow.”

“We saw some truck also, which we were told would carry that idol,” it added.

“The question is, if this new idol will be placed, what happens to Ram Lalla virajman? So far, Ram bhakts thought that the new temple was being built for Lalla virajman. But now, the news of a new idol in the under-construction sanctorum in the temple precincts has raised doubts whether Ram Lalla viraj will be sidelined/ignored.”

An idol set up by Swayambhu, dev-asuras, and ancient ancestors that breaks or becomes injured cannot be replaced with a new one. Visheshwar Jyotirling and Badrinath are witnesses to that.

Nritya Gopal Das was instructed by Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati to make sure that Ram Lalla virajman be given full precedence in the sanctum sanctorum reserved for pratishtha in the under-construction temple, with solely Ram Lalla virajman’s placement.

The letter stated, “Anything done in violation of this would be a great injustice to Sri Ram Lalla virajman, as well as a violation of history, public mood, morality, dharmshastra, and law.”

In addition, the letter expressed doubts about the choice to permit public use of a half built temple, raising issues with Vastu Shastra and the resulting increase in costs and dangers for guests.

Therefore, what justification does he have for permitting the usage of a half built temple, and will he now be held accountable for the increased costs and hazards that result for people who visit as a result? Because there are laws and regulations that must be observed, even for properties that are still under development.

  • Shankaracharya Raises question over new Ram idol, Says what will happen to old Shri Ram Lalla Virajman which was placed after Babri demolition?”

Shankaracharya Raises question over new Ram idol, Says what will happen to old Shri Ram Lalla Virajman which was placed after Babri demolition?”

“The question that arises is that if the new idol will be consecrated then will happen to Shri Ram Lalla Virajman?” In correspondence with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust, the Shankaracharya has made a request.

Jyotirmath Shankaracharya Swami Shri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati has ignited a fresh dispute regarding the great ceremonial, with the Pran Pratishtha just two days away.

He protested about the Pran Pratishtha of a new idol of Shri Ram in a letter to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. The original idol of Shri Ram Lalla was found at the Ram Janmabhoomi in 1949.

Notably, the trust already provided clarification on this matter about a year ago. The uproar over Shankaracharya’s refusal to attend the Pran Pratishtha has hardly subsided at the time of this dispute.

“The question that arises is that if the new idol will be consecrated then what will happen to Shri Ram Lalla Virajman?” reads the letter submitted by the Shankaracharya. The installation of a new idol in the sanctum sanctorum for consecration has prompted questions about whether it will be disrespectful to Shri Ram Lalla Virajman, although up until now the devotees believed that the new temple was being built for him.

The only idol that should be dedicated, according to his petition to the trust, is that of Shri Ram Lalla Virajman; “otherwise, it will be considered injustice to Shri Ram Lalla Virajman.”

The letter also asks Chandrakant Sompura, the chief architect of Ram Mandir, why he permitted Pran Pratishtha to use the temple when it is still under construction.

Breaking-Bilkis Bano case: The Supreme Court rejects the convicts’ request to extend their time to surrender before jail officials in the Bilkis Bano case.

The eleven convicts from the Bilkis Bano case who filed applications on Friday, January 19, asking for more time to turn themselves in to jail officials were denied by the Supreme Court.

The offenders’ stated justifications for requesting an extension of their surrender deadline, according to the court, were unfounded. As per the court’s January 8 ruling that overturned their premature release, the convicts must turn themselves in to the jail authorities by January 21, which was the first deadline set by the court.

The Court denied the petitions, ruling that the “reasons cited by applicants to seek postponement of surrender and report back to jail have no merit insofar as those reasons in no way prevent them from complying with our directions.”

Multiple pleas submitted by the prisoners in the Bilkis Bano case seeking an extension of time to surrender before jail officials were heard by a bench of Justices BV Nagarathna and Ujjal Bhuyan. The Supreme Court overturned the Gujarat government’s remission decisions on January 8, permitting the early release of the 11 convicts who had been given life sentences for several murders and gang rapes in the wake of the 2002 sectarian violence in Gujarat.

Rape Prisoner Baba Ram Rahim granted Parole again in less than two months, for Fifty days this time.

Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the leader of Dera Sacha Sauda, is incarcerated for twenty years after raping two of his followers. In less than two months, he had been granted parole twice.

Chief of Dera Sacha Sauda Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, who is currently incarcerated following his conviction in a case of rape and murder, was given a 50-day release period on Friday. In November 2023, a 21-day vacation was already given to him. On November 21 of last year, he had then left the Sunaria jail in the Rohtak district of Haryana. That marked Ram Rahim’s third 2023 jail term extension.

Prior to this, on July 30, the Dera chief had left the Sunaria jail after being granted a 30-day release. He had received a 40-day parole earlier in January. Additionally, he was given a 40-day parole in October 2022. He had been released from prison in June of last year on a month-long parole, which preceded his October parole. In addition, news agency PTI stated that he was given a furlough of three weeks beginning on February 7, 2022.

Currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for the rape of two of his students, Ram Rahim Singh. The Dera chief and four other people were found guilty in 2021 of planning to assassinate Dera manager Ranjit Singh. In 2019, the Dera chief and three other people were found guilty of killing a journalist over sixteen years prior.

Harjinder Singh Dhami, the president of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, had voiced his vehement opposition to the Haryana government’s decision to give the Dera chief a 21-day furlough, claiming that he is serving a sentence for horrible crimes including rape and murder. According to Dhami, it was creating a climate of distrust within the Sikh community.

The Dera chairman was frequently granted temporary parole from jail, according to PTI, but governments were not paying attention to the Sikh community’s calls for the release of Sikh inmates, or “Bandi Singhs.”

The Delhi High Court sent notice in December of last year regarding a claim for an injunction brought by YouTuber Shyam Meera Singh against Dera Sacha Sauda founder Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. Gurmeet Ram Rahim had requested that a video that Singh had published be taken down.

The Delhi High Court ordered a journalist to remove a video from social media on January 10 that featured derogatory remarks about Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the leader of Dera Sacha Sauda.

21 Children Allege Abuse at Indore Orphanage During Surprise Inspection

After a delegation from the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) conducted an unexpected visit at the orphanage, the tragedy came to light.

New Delhi/Indore: According to the police, about 21 youngsters at an orphanage in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, have accused its personnel of horrifying abuse and torture.
After a delegation from the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) conducted an unexpected visit at the orphanage last week, the horror came to light.

According to police, the kids told them that if they made even small mistakes, the staff would punish them. “The children told the team that they were hung upside down, branded with hot iron and photographed after being stripped,”officials stated.

They were also forced to breathe in red chilli smoke.

An inquiry is underway after a First Information Report, or FIR, was filed against five orphanage staff members.

“A four-year-old child was locked in the bathroom and not given food for two-three days after he defecated in his trousers,” the complaint stated.

According to the police, the Vatsalyapuram Jain Trust-run orphanage was not registered under the Juvenile Justice Act. In addition, the Trust maintains orphanages in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Surat, and Jodhpur.

“The CEC submitted a complaint, which served as the basis for the case. The children were sent to government facilities and the orphanage was promptly sealed, according to Amrendra Singh, the Additional Commissioner of Police in Indore.

“We are looking into the claims of the horrifying abuse,” Mr. Singh stated.

According to the police, the team’s accusation was accompanied by images of children’s injuries.

It has been learned that the youngsters residing in the facility are orphans from Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Odisha, and Maharashtra.
