A Sikh family in a village called Umarpura in Punjab India gave some land to their Muslim neighbors. The brothers Sukhjinder Singh Noni and Avninder Singh donated about 5.5 biswas of land. They did this because the village’s Muslim community didn’t have a mosque to pray in.
The family saw that their Muslim neighbors needed a place to worship so they decided to give them the land. It was a way to show they cared and that they wanted everyone in the village to get along. This kind of thing happens sometimes in India where different religions come together to help each other.
This action is a good example of people from different faiths working together. The Sikh family’s gift made it possible for the Muslim community to have a place for their religious practices. It showed unity within the village and helped everyone live together in a more welcoming way by building the new mosque.
