On January 8th food safety people went to Heemankshi Bakery in Mekaguda village which is near Hyderabad They went because they were worried about how the bakery was handling food. They found a bunch of food that was old or not stored right which added up to about 14.29 lakh rupees.
The people doing the inspection saw that food wasn’t kept well Things were just on the floor instead of on pallets which can cause problems They also found that bugs had gotten into some of the food They took some cocoa powder and Liquid GMS that didn’t have labels not knowing where it came from or what was in it.
Some of the expired items they took were Malto Dextrin Cake Gel Hydrogenated Vegetable Fat Milk Powder and Modified Starch Because these things were expired they were taken out of the bakery This shows why it’s important to check places like bakeries regularly to make sure they’re following the rules and keeping people safe.
