Telangana’s Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is heading to New Delhi on Tuesday to be part of the opening of the Congress party’s new headquarters. This new office is named Indira Gandhi Bhawan and is where the All India Congress Committee or AICC will now be based. Big names in the Congress like Sonia Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi are all expected to be there for the opening on January 15.
After the opening event Chief Minister Reddy is going to meet with some of the union ministers on January 16. He’ll talk about things that matter to Telangana and how the state is working with the central government. These talks are an important part of his trip. Once those meetings are done he plans to leave for an international trip that same night. We don’t know yet where he’s going or why.
This new office opening is a big moment for the Congress party and shows that the leaders are all working together. Chief Minister Reddy going shows how important the event is for the party. Also his meetings with the ministers are about helping Telangana and working well with the national government.
