The Telangana government is starting a program called Rythu Bharosa on January 26th to help farmers. It’s like giving them money to help with their crops. Each year they’ll get ₹12,000 for every acre of land they farm this is meant to help them with their money problems and grow more crops.
The money will only go to farms that are listed in a new land system called Bhu Bharati. The more land a farmer has listed in this system the more money they will get. This system helps make sure the money goes to the right people and is tracked carefully.
This program only covers land that can be farmed. Bhu Bharati is used to check which lands are eligible and who owns them making sure the money goes where it’s supposed to and helps farmers grow their crops better.
