A revenue inspector named Nenavath Shyam Naik got arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau. He works at the Dindi Tahasildar’s office in the Nalgonda district. This happened because someone complained that Naik asked for a bribe to help with a government application. The person needed help getting their sister’s Kalyana Lakshmi scheme application processed.
The investigation showed Naik first asked for 10,000 rupees. But he got caught taking 5,000 rupees from the person who complained. When the ACB saw the money change hands they took Naik into custody. They also recovered the money they marked before, which they’ll use as evidence.
This shows how the Anti-Corruption Bureau is working to stop corruption. Someone reported Naik and after an investigation the authorities arrested him. This is how they try to hold government officials responsible when they abuse their power for their own benefit by taking bribes.
