Telangana to Issue Ration Cards to Over 1 Million After Public Review

Telangana to Issue Ration Cards to Over 1 Million

Telangana’s government has found 6.68 lakh families which is about 1,165,052 people who can get new ration cards. These cards will help people get food at lower prices and other important things. The government sent lists of these families to people in charge of each district so they can start the next steps to get the cards out to those that need them.

After these lists were shared there will be a time for people to speak up about them. Local meetings in villages and communities are happening from January 20th to 24th. People can tell the government if they think someone was missed or included by mistake. The goal here is to make sure the final list is correct and that everyone gets a fair chance.

Once all feedback is looked at the district leaders will make the final list of who gets a ration card hopefully by January 26th. After this the new cards will be given to these families so they can use them for food help. It’s all part of the government’s plan to make sure people have enough to eat.
