On January 15th the Rachakonda police in Hyderabad arrested a 26-year-old farmer named Harekrishna Yadav He’s from Uttar Pradesh but was found with some illegal guns. They found two country made pistols a tapancha and ten bullets. He had moved to Hyderabad in 2019 for work but later went back to farming in his village.
The police believe his village which is close to the Bihar border helped him connect with people who make these illegal guns. Being so close to the border seems to have made it easier for him to get the weapons. Before getting arrested Yadav had finished some high school.
The police are trying to stop illegal guns and this arrest is part of that. They want to know if Yadav was making or selling these guns and why he had them in the first place.
